FILM DESCRIPTION
Rene Dupere, musical creator for Cirque du Soleil, and his partner Elise Velle, have been involved with a humanitarian aid project in Benin for the past 7 years. The aim is to help women escape conditions of extreme poverty and put them on the road to greater autonomy. Rene and Elise initiated, financed and continue to supervise this project. They have much to tell us about their experience in the field. The film provides a privileged opportunity to penetrate to the heart of clans and communities, sharing in the intimacy of families and women’s lives. It is their great sensitivity of Elise and Rene and their desire to invest time and energy that have made them project a success story. 50min
